Outlets, plural?

Planning a quick trip (overnight) in February to visit Silver Sands. But I keep reading "shop at the outlets", as in plural outlets....am I missing something?

Thanks!

They are probably referring to each store as an outlet. There is just one VERY large outlet mall. We were down in October and between us and our friends from England, we did some damage there.

If you are into shopping, there is one other major shopping venue to visit in Destin - Destin Commons. This is a very attractive, upscale shopping center, but it is not an outlet.

the commons, which is 5 or 6 miles from the outlet mall, has abercrombie, holister, VS , bass pro, ect.

the outlet mall has 150-200 stores, ranging from nike, adidas, under armour, reebok, new balance, oakley, sunglass hut, polo, brooks brothers, coach, bose, Saks 5th ave.. but since its an outlet, there are pretty good sales basically everyday
