Don't think my wife would approve.

Back on the subject of fish sticking to the grill. If you have some spray olive oil, a.k.a. Pam, after the grill is hot and wire brushed off, spay the grill with a light coat just before you put the fish on, skin side down. I agree, the basket is best. This isn't a cure all, but it can definetly help. Keep the eyebrows, and hands for that matter, back, it could flare up on you. This actually works better for things like shrimp and scallops-bacon wrapped I think I heard!

Most of the filet's I purchase or am given don't have the skin on them. Go for the basket. It is safer.

vppub-- you mentioned on the lengthy thread about your identity that you work with photographers -- suggest any? We have a group of 17 coming next week and it's a once in a blue moon chance for us to all be together for a beach photo. (if we don't kill each other first)

Yes, I can suggest a few.

JD Sekora - 850-654-8693

Portraits by Trish - 850-837-6614 (if she's not booked)

Fran Doggrell Photography 850-231-2430

Shree Williams Photography 850-231-2048

Those are a few good ones that I know of.

I have suggested many times to the photographers to not only take a beach photo, but to put some christmas props for christmas cards since out sand is so white. (looks like snow). Wouldn't that be a unique card to send with the beach in the background???

Just a thought.

SNOW??!! If I never see snow again, that would suit me fine. It's only suitable 2 days a year - Xmas eve and Xmas day.

IE: Xmas card. Sand looks like snow, beach in background.

Not for the main photo of course, just for a little fun.

You are right, a friend of mine did that with her family once and had red and white striped towels and built a "Snowman" out of sand and wrapped the towel around his neck. Pretty good.
