Coming for the race -- need budget-minded restaurant tips!

We're coming to Daytona Beach in a few weeks for the Daytona 500. Our hotel is just around the corner from the tracks.

Anyone have some budget-minded restaurant tips? We'd really like to try some fresh seafood and don't mind venturing away from the tourist areas.

Many thanks!!!

Hey Fellow canadian, here are the best restaurents.

Longhorns (across street from track)

*River Grille*

Inlet Harbour

*Alfredo's*

Boondocks

*Julians*

Olive Garden

Outback Steakhouse

Red Lobster

I put * stars beside my favorites, however the RIVER GRILLE is the best one out of them all.

Reasonable & good.....

There is an All-You-Can eat Chinese Place at Nova & ISB in the Daytona Mall w/ snow crab legs.....it's like $9.95/person.....

Smokey's//or Woody's BBQ is always good & reasonable. There are about 3 Bob Evan's ---my recommendation for Breakfast.

Inlet Harbor has great seafood.

Most places along the River - The Wreck or DJ's have fish sandwiches with great scenery....sit and watch the boats.

I thought that Webber's steakhouse has a fish fry on Friday....if you are not at the truck races....call them first to verify.

Aunt Catfish's. South on Ridgewood to Dunlawton. Actually Hafifax, right after the bridge.

All the restaurants around the County will be mobbed during race week. Keep this in mind.

Just for fun, if you want a NASCAR themed place to eat, we always try to go to "First Turn Lounge" at least once.

We've never had bad food and it's fun.

Keep in mind it's NOT fancy, it will be crowded during race weeks. It is a BAR and grill type place.
