Cocoa Beach or Clearwater/St Petes Beach?

Considering 1 of these beaches for 4 nights at the end of our Orlando stay next May.

Any recommendations for hotels? Cocoa Beach Oceanside Inn? Are there lots of restaurants/family things to do (apart from the beach obviously!) at Cocoa beach. Or would Clearwater be more suitable? (got kids aged 8 and 5 yrs).

Clearwater Beach offers alot to do with the kiddies, and the waters are calmer and clearer, sand is a nice white powdery sand. It is a small island(about 2 miles long), offers the beach, pirate/boat cruises, mini golf, the beach, Pier 60 has sunset entertainment each night....breathtaking sunsets you wont find on the east coast, and many family restaurants. Holiday Inn Sunspree caters to familys, the Hilton is a really nice hotel next to the Pier.

Cocoa Beach is definitely a great place to vacation with your family. However I'd suggest you stay at the Marriott Courtyard Cocoa Beach instead. Its right near the ocean, has great amenities, new meeting space, and close to area shops and restaurants.
