Beach hotel with balconies needed

My wife and I are planning on spending a long weekend in Clearwater and would like a nice hotel on the beach that has balconies. Any suggestions?

I didn't stay here but the Hilton was very nice and had a great location. It gets mixed reviews on this site.

We really enjoyed the Sheraton Sand Key - right on the beach (Yes you do have to walk a bit) and overall great service.

The Hilton is right on the beach and does have balconies. Just make sure that you get a room on the 4th floor or higher as these rooms have been refurbished. I stayed there in september and couldn`t fault the rooms or service. Food is pricey in the hotel but theres loads of other places to eat near by.

We stayed at The Marriott on Sandkey and had a great time. Restaurant is a bit pricey but the food is excellent. Not strictly on the beach but does overlook the Intracoastal with great views from the balconies - ask for a high room for the best views and great sunrises.
