I could not open this and I am very curious - Did the Dewey Beach Club close? I saw something on line about trivia night and it said it closed. We love it there, and I hope it did not - when I saw there was an article on its "reincarnation", I was anxious to read it.

I don't think is the same article, but has essentially the same info:

So I read the Cape Gazette article (Thanks for the link Wythany). I was interested to see the phrase "inquiring minds" in the second sentence; I seem to remember it from another thread....

Ferd, "there" as in Dewey Beach? Or just "there" in cyberspace?

Anyway, LOL about "inquiring minds" -- I had not noticed it until you pointed it out.

We actually are in Dewey; leaving tomorrow. Had a fabulous meal/sunset at Venus on the Half Shell on Tuesday; nice meal in last night courtesy of The Colonel; good lunch today at La Tonalteca; and now we're about to leave for dinner at Stingray.

NObody is around! This is the quietest week-before-Labor-Day in Dewey I've experienced in 35 years!

"The Colonel" reminds me of the old joke about taking a sandwich to a banquet. I'd have thought you'd finally make it to 1776. :<(
