First time skiing, first time winter park

My wife and me are travelling this weekend (3 days) to winterpark. This is my first time skiing. My wife is pregnant (5 months) so she won't be able to ski.We have booked our travel lodging and car rental.

Any tips for a beginner skiier?

What snow and non snow related activities are safe during pregnancy?

Which other places can we see in and around the place?

Any input will be highly appreciated!

As a beginner you will need lessons. All the information is here

Your wife might enjoy a Spa treatment at http://www.devilsthumbranch.com/ she could also do an easy snowshoe there.

Thank you for the information.very useful...

The ski lessons have to be booked 48 hours in advance.Would booking at the site be possible? How much more would it cost?
