winter park in september

Have not been to winter park before. Is the train noise an issue? If so, where would be the best location for quiet? Looking at vrbo, for a 2b/2b. There are so many areas to choose from. Any suggestions?

I have never noticed the train noise to be a problem. September should be pretty quiet anywhere in the Winter Park area since it isn't ski season yet. Sol Vista is a fairly nice place to stay, but it's near Granby, a little way from Winter Park. However, Granby is a great place to stay. Small town, close to Winter Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. What do you want to do during your stay there? If you give us some ideas we may be able to give you better suggestions on where to stay. Thanks!

I stayed near downtown Winter Park for about a week and do not remember hearing any train noise.
