Dinner suggestion

Will be in Vail this upcoming weekend for a short, three day ski trip at Vail and Beaver Creek. Have dinner already planned for Sunday and Monday as well as lunch reservations at 10th and Spago. Need dinner ideas for just my husband and I for Saturday. Would like to keep that evening casual and less expensive (under $30 entrees if possible). The ability to make a reservation would be great, but not a deal breaker. We are staying in Vail Village but have a car so we are willing to drive to Minturn, Beaver Creek etc. Open to most cuisines as well. Thanks!

Vin48 in Avon is a fun choice if you want to drive 10 minutes, they have a great happy hour from 5-6:30 with $8 small plates, http://www.vin48.com. Mountain Standard in Vail is good but can be a little pricey, Russell's is always a good meal, Bol is a fun place to grab a bite, you don't need to go bowling http://www.bolvail.com.

DogMama picked the two I would have said Vin48, agree great Happy Hour too. I love Mountain Standard too. Yes maybe pricey but not overly so for Vail. You will want reservations. Not in the Village is http://www.vailalehouse.com you could take the free in town bus easily to enjoy a few brews!

Another + for Vin 48. It's been a couple of years, but we also like Dish in Edwards. tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g33405-d75…

If you want to get out of Vail for something different consider Saloon in Minturn. It's a real favorite with VIPs we entertain in Vail and Beaver Creek. Mexican and American. A great spot for quite a different culture than what you'll be experience in Vail.

Have fun.

If you have a car, 5 minutes west of Beaver Creek is Edwards. With 16 restaurants to choose from, most geared to us locals so the pricing is attractive. Zinos and Gore Range Brewery are always popular choices!

Fiesta's has great Mexican, Gas House has fish, game, steaks, burgers. Henry's for Chinese, Old Forge Pizza, Main Street Grill has cajun faire, Juniper is yummy but high-end & more $, Many more!!!!
