What to do in Vail when you don´t like to ski

We are going next month to Vail and there are some people in our group that aren´t going to ski. My wife (58 years old), her sister (46) and another sister (49). Any ideas of some outdoor activity or place to go and visit?

They could try a snowmobile tour which wouldn't require much walking. If they really don't want to do anything sporting they could have some spa time at a place like The Arabelle or The Four Seasons. Beaver Creek in a nice little village to spend the day shopping and having lunch.

Relax in one, or two, or three, of Vail's many spas. Eat at great restaurants. Shop till you drop.

Yep ,eat, drink, shop, spa. All very easy at Vail. Where are you staying? You might contact the concierge prior to arrival and have some reservations and ideas prepared.

Lots of things to do besides skiing. There are day spas everywhere, in almost every hotel for every price range. There are a couple of dog sled tours, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, cross country skiing. Solaris now offers Cinebistro, and Bol for movies and bowling in an amazing atmosphere. There are about a hundred first class restaurants that offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Adventure Ridge is an winter park at the top of the Gondola that offers activities for the entire family including an apres ski. Shopping in Vail Village is great, not to mention that Beaver Creek is just a short bus ride away.

Vail is a pedestrian village, no need for a car and parking can be tricky. The free bus service runs a convenient schedule to and from the village and walking can be minimal.
