Best areas for lodging

Have been on VRBO and am completely overwhelmed. Two families (4 adults and 3 children) are planning a trip over Presidents weekend. Most likely, 5 nites. Is there such a thing as true, ski in and ski out?

Would like a hot tub and a pool. Do not want to break the bank....Condos would work. Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks so much!!

Antlers, Christy Club, Bear Claw, Edgemont, Ptarmigan, Ironwood Townhomes, One Steamboat Place, Torian Plum, and Storm Meadows are a few of the true ski in/ski out properties in Steamboat, and all of those should have hot tubs and/or pools on property. Storm Meadows will probably be the least expensive of those because it is a little further up the mountain.

There are also some ski in/walk out properties such as Bronze Tree and Kutuk which are close but will save you money because you just have to walk down to the gondola.

As far as getting a private hot tub and saving money, it might be beneficial to look at some properties that are a quick shuttle ride away. I know that Trappeur's Crossing Resort is about a 3-5 minute shuttle ride and has several condos with private hot tubs.

Regardless of where you end up, though, both families should have a blast because Steamboat is so much fun and we're already getting snow! Good luck on all the planning!
