Good place to buy snacks, water and lunch supplies

We will be staying at the Marriott Residence inn the first night of our tour of SW CO. We would like to pick up snacks, water and lunch supplies for our cooler. Where is a good place to purchase these and are there any stores in Grand Junction that sell Boars Head deli meats? Thanks

Grand Junction is a city so there will be Safeway and Walmart and City Market (Kroeger) so it won't be a problem. GJ also has a Sams Club if that is interesting to you too.

So you are hooked on Boar's Head meats, too. So are we. The newest City Market store carries them here and is closest to where you are staying. It is located just off of F Rd by the mall. 630 24 Rd is the actual address if you are using your GPS. You can use your Kroger savings card there and get everything on your list.

Thanks SusieLou. We use Kroger and Walmart for our shopping and it is so much easier to go thru Kroger and get what you need. Yes we love Boars Head and are hooked on several of their meats for a sandwich with cheese, homegrown tomatoes and lettuce.

Also do you have a recommendation for dinner our night in Grand Junction?

Since your hotel is on restaurant row you will find lots of dining very close to hand. Also in the mall area (by the City Market store) there is Olive Garden, Red Lobster and Outback Steakhouse, all of which are good and the ones I would suggest with the limited time you have. By the way that City Mkt has a entire cheese deli that has some really special cheeses. Be sure to sample some, not like any other grocery store I've been in.
