We've used them multiple times in San Diego. It is very hit or miss. I get great deals on the rentals but you get what you pay for. The service is an inconvenience for the employees so you won't find friendly faces or help other than the basic transaction. The cars are also functioning vehicles, but nothing to write home about. In addition, if you get there & they didn't hold your reservation (yes as in the "Seinfeld" episode) you must shuttle back to the airport & start over.

I just rented from Fox rental car in Denver and never will again. The customer service rep I had was extremely rude. When we said we didn't want any extras they shoved the keys toward us an sent us on our way. When we got the car it was filthy to where you couldn't even look out of the window. We asked for them to wash it and they said they didn't have time. When we checked the lot for another vehicle not so dirty there wasn't one. I will say while driving through Denver almost every car is dirty. However, when passing other rental company car lots, I didn't see any dirty cars. I do not recommend Fox rental car and I personally will never use them again.

Yeah always go with a major company for better service and less chance of an unpleasant surprise.

I've rented from Fox in Vegas and would walk from the airport to downtown before renting from them again.
