Bus Service Downtown Denver to Fort Collins

We will be flying into Denver, but want to spend the day sightseeing downtown, before

heading out to Fort Collins. Any suggestions on bus service, schedule etc.. Thanks

in advance for any information you can pass on.

Technically, you can take RTD from Denver to Longmont and then Flex from Longmont to Fort Collins.

A much easier solution is Super Shuttle. They do airport and point to point service for an additional charge.

Green Ride can get you from DIA to Fort Collins but not from downtown Denver.

I want to go from Ft. Collins to downtown Denver. What is the best shuttle service. Super Shuttle charges $130.00 + 18% gratuity. Might as well rent a car.

The Flex/RTD combination I mentioned in reply #1 is going to be your cheapest option. From RTD

"Travel along the Front Range just got a lot easier! June 7, 2010 marked the introduction of FLEX, the newest and most flexible route in Northern Colorado. Those living in the communities of Fort Collins, Loveland and Berthoud can enjoy transit connectivity throughout the region, including Denver & Boulder. FLEX will connect with RTD at the Roosevelt Park Park-n-Ride in Longmont. Get more information about this new service at flexnoco.com."

You could pay Super Shuttle or Green Ride their standard fare to DIA ($29 to $42 depending on location) and then take RTD SkyRide from DIA into downtown.

Greyhound's Website mentions 2 buses daily from Denver to Ft. Collins. One at noon, the other at midnight. Takes about 1 hour, apparently non-stop. Walk-up rates quoted at $30. Advance purchase rates quoted at $20. Web-only rate ~$21. The Denver Bus Station is in downtown Denver.
