Best places downtown for a girl's night out!

We are a small group (6-7 of us) of late 30s-early 40s ladies who are getting together for a girl's night out in downtown Denver for one night on a Saturday night. We plan on spending the night downtown. I was thinking the Sheraton or the Marriott Courtyard? Other good spots?

Also, what are the best places to hang out? We like to dance, but don't want the super young crowd. Most of us are married with kids, so we're not interested in meeting guys. We just want fun places to hang out, dance, have a drink or two, and just basically enjoy ourselves. None of us have been to downtown or LoDo in a long time, so we don't know where the good spots are anymore. Any help is appreciated!

Larimer Square is as wonderful as ever, all of Lodo. I think this place is fun, Wild Ivories Dueling Piano Saloon. Rioja is a fun place for dinner too, on Larimer.

At the other end of downtown, in the Denver Pavillions, is another fun place for jazz, Jazz at Jacks.

Have a great time, I hope this helps!

@dawg488...thank you for your post. I appreciate it! The info does help with our planning. I've never heard of Wild Ivories (just Sing Sing and Soiled Dove), so we might have to check it out. I ate at Rioja a few years ago, and it was amazing!! Jazz at Jacks is another new one to me, so I'll add it to our list.
