Lodging recommendation - Peak 8 or 9

Coming to Breck, first time this weekend. Looking for some cost effective ski-in/ski-out.. Saw some condo rentals for about $150/night either at Trails End or Village at Breck at base of Peak 9.. Any recommendations on which is closer, or better. Should I consider Peak 8 instead of 9.. F

Peak eight seemed much more busy than nine when I was there with the family three weeks ago. No problem getting fresh tracks early on peak ten Falcon lift. Have fun, I love Breck! JD

We've stayed at The Village several times. It's not actually SI/SO, but the lift is less than a 5 minute walk, and it's a very short walk to Main St for restaurants and shops.

Village at Breckenridge: Big condo complex with four buildings, pool and hot tubs, restaurant onsite and a 50 yard walk to the Quicksilver lift. Main Street is a half a block away.

Trailsend: one building, hot tubs onsite, 50 yards to the Quicksilver lift and two and half blocks to Main Street.

Other Options:

-If you want ski in/ out, then stay in building four at Beaver Run Resort. Here you can ski right to your building. This is a full service resort with pools, hot tubs, bars and restaurants.

-If you stay in the Cedars Townhomes (by Quicksilver LIft) you can ski right to your back door-Make sure to get a front row townhome.

-Powderhorn condos are 50 yards to the Quicksilver lift and may be a little cheaper.

Peak 9 is a great place to stay. You can always jump on the Peak 8 superconnect from Peak 9 over to 8.

Just got back from the Village this weekend. Loved how convenient it was. It was almost as ski in/out as Beaver Run seemed to be. We have walked further from the parking lot to the hill at our little resort here in Michigan. Loved the location. Easy to get to everything! Peaks 8, 9, and 10 easily accessible. Enjoy, whatever you do decide!
