Breckenridge ski school

I am traveling to Breck this week and was looking into taking a 1-day lesson. There is an option onlne for reserving a spot at 1)the Village, 2)Beaver Run, and 3)Peak 8....is there a difference in the 3 of these for a beginner/novice skiier? Also, can you just show up for a lesson, or is it really necessary to make a reservation? Thanks so much!

Not much difference really, there is good access to nice beginner runs from all three. My personal choice would be peak 8. Usually you can just turn up and book onto a lesson. Just make sure you get to the office quite early.

My husband found it difficult to arrange a lesson at short notice, apparently a big group of Australians who usually come over to teach did not get their entry paperwork so they are a bit short of teachers this year... that was what he heard, couldn't say how true it is, but may be worth making an advance arrangement to be on the safe side.
