Looking forgone night away from boulder

Will be in boulder sept 22 for 4 nights. Thinking of spending the first 2 mites in boulder, third night somewhere else(Estes park?) and the last night in boulder. Any suggestions? Like to hike

If you like to hike then Rocky Mountain National Park is a great place. I would plan on 2 nights in Estes Park. You would be in Estes/RMNP during the peak of elk rut and hopefully fall foliage. Fall is a little strange and stressed this year. If you have never been to RMNP, then plan at least part of a day to drive and explore along Trail Ridge Road. Between Boulder and Estes Park, check out the hikes in the Brainard Lakes Recreation Area of the Indian Peaks Wilderness.

This is a great hiking site for RMNP but also has the hikes for Brainard Lakes.
