Dinner: The Med on Walnut and 12th/11th.

Breakfast: Lucile's on 13th between Spruce and Pine.

To get some nature: start at the trailhead in Chautauqua - easy access to some great outdoor trails.

And of course plan some time to just tool around on Pearl St. and watch people/shop.

If you are looking for a mid-level local restaurant, places like Pasta Jay's and The Med will meet your needs. They have good food and are local favorites. Jax has a great chef and great food and also consider The Kitchen.

If you are looking for a fine dining experience for a special occasion, consider one of the following, all of which will require reservations on graduation weekend:

Frasca: Very expensive but one of the best restaurants in Boulder.

Flagstaff House: Very expensive, unbelievable views overlooking Boulder from a mountain setting. Great food.

Colterra: It is in Niwot, about 7 miles northeast of Boulder but worth the drive. Expensive but excellant food. The chef, Bradfort Heap used to be the chef at the Full Moon Grill and Chautaqua in Boulder.

Treppeda's: Again in Niwot. A little less expensive than Colterra and not quite as formal but excellant food.

Greenbriar and The Broker are a bit "worn" although still good for brunch but I wouldn't select them for dinner if I was looking for a great fine dining special occasion celebration. Both are more reminiscent of a "supper club" experience. They are in the same price range as Colterra or Treppeda's but less expensive than Flagstaff or Frasca.

Mongolian BBQ is no longer in downtown Boulder. It closed a little over a year ago and a new restaurant is slated to open in the next month or so.

Have a great weekend.
