St James Place vs Highlands Lodge

We are planning a ski trip to BC Jan 7 - 11 and are researching places to stay. Seems like both St James Place and Highlands Lodge are getting positive comments. Any comments on which place would be better? We are looking for something nice with good service. Any other suggestions besides these 2? They are both in the $600/night range (2 bedroom unit). There are 2 couples going.

Highlands Lodge is located up on the eastern hillside of Beaver Creek. You can ski right in/out of the location which is the pro. The con would be that is is a walk into the village> although Beaver Creek has great free transportation, you are still "up on the hill"

St. James on the other hand is located right on the mall. You can step out your door to all the restaurants, ice rink etc.

In your post you mentioned "good service"? Keep in mind that both of these buildings are condominiums. (No restaurants, room service etc like you'd find in a hotel!!)

St james has an on-site indoor pool, hot tub, sauna & small work-out room. Highlands lodge has an outdoor pool/hot tub.

Your call! You'll enjoy either!
