Need some new ideas

We have been coming to Vail and Beaver Creek for two weeks each summer the last 7 years. We have done gondola rides, miniature golf, gem panning, farmers markets, fishing, golfing, driving to Leadville, Aspen, and Georgetown. The trains in Georgetown and Leadville and the kids clubs. I'm looking for something else to do this summer when we go in late July. Any suggestions on things we haven't done? We can only do short hikes because our daughter has mild cerebral palsy. When I have gone to Durango area we rented a Jeep and did the trails and saw the old ghost towns which I love but not sure there is anything like this here. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi JCTXDallas_TX, have you done the hot springs? Glenwood Springs or over to Buena Vista? How about a float trip? Zip Lines?

Most of my ideas are probably better suited for a day trip from either Vail or Breckenridge.

1. Take a drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. The west side is very scenic and there seem to be more animal sightings. You can take a boat tour of the lake. Drive up to the visitor's center. Very scenic drive with lots of pull outs.

2. You mentioned that you had been to Aspen. But have you been there on a Sunday when they have the Farmers Market? Discovered this last July and loved it.

3. St. Elmo's is a great ghost town and would be an easy trip from Breck or Vail.

4. Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods both in Colorado Springs.

Maybe head over to Frisco, Breckenridge, Dillon area. Rent a boat, or jeep, or ?

Also Steamboat Springs is maybe a 2 hour drive away. Beautiful up there in the summer.
