Kids & Trees

Anyone care to recommend/suggest a family-oriented lodge in/around Eureka that a family of four might use as HQ while enjoying northern California?

Thanks, as always.

I think the Carter House Inn is family friendly.

Eek! The Carter House Inn kid friendly-not my recollection of this high end (Wine Spectator award winning Very expensive restaurant downstairs) inn. I would definately choose the Best Western Bayshore Inn-beautiful property with indoor/outdoor pool, has a one bedroom with kitchen unit avail for families, Marie Callendar restaurant next door, full breakfast inc. (eggs, sausage, french toast etc.)Walk to the beach...beautifully kept hotel...Have fun in the redwoods-we especially love the Samoa dunes and Old Town Eureka...!
