Going to Santa Rosa next week.. Balloon question???

HI, I am going to Santa Rosa next week.. from NY. I arrive on Sept 13.. are all hot air balloon rides at 6:00 am?? If so, I want to book it my first day in California since I will still be on NY time. Is it worth the price?? I love the idea.. its on my bucket list in life.. but I want to know if it is worth the $ 450 for my husband and I??? We are staying at the Flamingo resort and have booked the Ace It Bike tour for our second say. We also want to visit the redwoods in Armstrong State Park.. then we depart on Friday for a couple of days in San Francisco..Any great itinerary ideas I shouldn't miss??

I love balloons, so I'm a bad person to ask. If you've never done it, though it is a once in a lifetime experience. But yes, they all require an early morning. (They usually give you champagne and a light breakfast after.) There is a 20% deal going on for Up & Away, I think I may have mentioned that in an answer to another question you posted, but: http://wp.me/pqk6J-3Zj is the link to the 20% off deal, still pricey but not $450.

I just booked Up and Away for Thursday.. Mike was so nice on the phone.. the 20% off makes it seem so much more reasonable...Thanks so much for the link...I'll post after the trip. I am doing an Ace it Bike tour also.
