Please help identify this building

Help! While vacationing in CA this summer, my boyfriend and I were driving through San Jose (or possibly a neighboring city) at night, and saw this HUGE, lighted building from the highway and are extremly curious as to what it was. We tried to get to it but couldn't. I can give you some particulars. It was on a hill in a residential area. It literally dominated the hillside (I can imaging the local residents are not thrilled with it, it was so bright and dominating). I have tried to do some search engines to try to find it but cannot. Looked like it maybe a house of worship. Any help is greatly appreciated. Our curiosity is getting the better of us!

My first guess would be "Valley Cristian school" our newest addition on a hill with dominating light.

The other could be Communication Hill.

Valley Cristian school is at Capitol Exp. and Monterey Hwy.(roughly)

Communication Hill is at Hwy 87 and Capitol Exp.

Communication Hill also has a house of worship looking Building.....that you can see from Hwy 87 at Curtner av.

There's a First Baptist Church that's a large impressive mostly white-colored singular rotunda-like building on a hill at 800 Ironwood, San Jose which is quite a landmark as one drives along Hwy 87. If you're driving south on 87, you'll be looking right at it. It's usually lit up at night too. It looks a bit isolated and isn't the easiest to drive to. It has a tall, thin spire rising from its middle. It's been there long before residential areas crowded up closer to it.

Valley Christian, mentioned earlier, may not be as easily seen from the major highways, except at a distance. It's most visible from Monterey Highway (highway with traffic lights) and is quite easy to get to. It's a collection of big buildings and is actually quite an improvement to the surrounding residential area (seedy area).

Some of these isolated hills used to have rocket engine test platforms and firefighter training towers.

Incidentally, as of late, the hillsides are getting developed with tons of residential units. IMO, this is not a bright idea when the next big rain storms come.
