Riveria and attractions

Do you have any recommendations on attractions? I have read on the internet regarding atv trip, hiking, tram, hot air balloon ride or restaurants and bars for the night life. This is our 25th anniversary and our first trip in 16 years without children. We are staying at the Riveria - any tips for staying there? We are going in mid-April.

Sounds like you have a good start already. The Living Desert is fun too, its in Palm Desert south of El Paseo Drive which is a street filled with exclusive shops and restaurants.

The weather will be warm by then, if not summer-like.

The RIVIERA is a large hotel on the north side of town, are you renting a car?

Yes we are renting a car. Any suggestions on the best hikes? Will we need to drive to downtown PS or can we walk?

You are close to downtown, a few long blocks of a walk. It could be a long walk depending on where you are headed. Always head South- dont walk North of the hotel, unless you just cross the street to Billy Reeds which is a good all around place to eat any time of day.
