In the desert, March is variable, if you get a cold front it can drop into the 30s overnight (especially early in the month) but more likely in the upper 40s/low 50s. Most of the time, in the winter, it is colder at night in the desert (because the clear air allows the daytime heat to dissipate).

Daytimes are pleasant as long as the sun is out, generally warmer than the coast.

As you get more into the summer it will be warmer at night as well as much much HOTTER during the day.
