Choice is rather limited in Oroville. I haven't stayed there for awhile, but if it helps, AAA gives the Comfort Inn the highest rating of the ones it lists

We used to like to stay at "Jean's Riverside Bed and Breakfast" which has rooms opening to a deck and extensive lawn area sloping down to the river (and some rooms had hot tubs). But the "Jean" who owned it has retired and sold it, and I have not been there since. It may have a web site.

Well, the best hotel is the Comfort Inn, 1470 Feather River Blvd. Oroville is a wonderful place, we stayed 2 days there. From antique stores(Montgomery Blvd.) to River Bend park (sign says "Catch a Dream"), this hotel's location was just a few minutes from everything. Lake Oroville and it's visitors center are not to be missed.

The Riverside Bed and Breakfast is still the best place to stay in Oroville. It has rooms opening to a deck and extensive lawn area sloping down to the river. Some rooms have king-sized beds, their own private deck, river views, and jacuzzi tubs. A gourmet breakfast is served each morning. Its website is http://riversidebandb.com/
