Napa Cave Tours

Will visit Napa in the summer and would like to know the BEST CAVE TOURS in Napa/Sonoma areas. I have been to Schramsburg and loved it -- looking for the other greats!

There are so many choices, you can help us by telling us what you want out of a cave tour experience, e.g. wine education, barrel tasting, unique architecture/decor, historic character, etc. What are your wine preferences?

I'm not sure what the best cave tours might be but a number of wineries have caves. Here's a list of some of them:

Some of the more popular seem to be Del Dotto and Rutherford Hill. And, of course, Jarvis and Palmaz if you want the ultimate experience

Schramsberg is very nice - and glad you enjoyed it.

Since you enjoyed that one,

I'd probably choose Del Dotto or Jarvis - they are over the top, but both well done tours. Del Dotto - barrel tasting and lots of wine tasting (go later in afternoon since its a great place to end the wine tasting day, take a nap afterwards). Jarvis is amazing too. Yep, so many great places to go. Enjoy.

Jarvis is a great choice - lots of fun. Palmaz has a great cave as does Porter Family in Coombsville. If you're looking for a great boutique winery experience, look us up - we'd love to see you!
