Best Town for "in-town" entertainment

My husband and I are planning a 3-day weekend to Napa in February. I'm trying to determine which town has the best restaurant/bar options within walking distance - shopping would be great too. Although we will spend a full day wine tasting - we like to have a day where we just knock around a town and don't have to worry about driving. Thanks for any suggestions.

That would be the town of Napa for wine tasting, bars, restaurants, markets and shopping.

Hmmm....look into Yountville, as well. Not as large but a better "charm" factor.

Napa or Calistoga for live music. Napa more so in the winter.

We spent 4 nights in Calistoga last Feb. Enjoyed the hot mineral pools at that time of year, the town and restaurants. Often we stay in Yountville, and that also has lots of restaurants.

Definitely downtown Napa.

My answer would be Yountville just a few years ago, but Napa is now officially the place to be for walkable entertainment on the weekends -- all in one place.

You can stay in downtown, and visit a number of Tasting Rooms for wine tasting right in downtown, Oxbow Market (with everything from the coffee shop, bakery, tapas, oysters, and other restaurants, and a wine bar); wine bars -- 1313 Main Street, Carpe Diem, Morimoto Lounge, The Thomas, and multiple amazing restaurants. All walking distance.
