Time needed to travel from Calistoga to SFO

How much time should we allow to travel by car from Calistoga to SFO to make an 11:00am flight on a Wednesday morning? (9/26)

You'll be driving during S.F. in-bound commute time. Assuming you want to arrive at the SFO terminal one hour in advance (10am) - to be safe - I'd leave Calistoga no later than 7:15am. One half hour earlier if returning a rental car.

Be sure to check highway construction updates the night before, there is ongoing construction on Hwy 29, and Silverado Trail is currently being re-paved with 20 minute delays -- hopefully, will be completed by then. See: http://511.org/ for all Bay Area traffic conditions and construction.

One hour before a flight is if you don't have checkin bags amd have your boarding pass 90 or so if you do plus half hour at rental car terminal. Which would mean 9 am so you can work backwards in terms of leaving
