Municipal Pier (Wharf II?)

I can't seem to find a lot of info regarding what there is to see or do on this wharf. We will be going there next week. We will also go to Fisherman's Wharf and know what to expect there because we've been there before. I know there are a least two restaurants on the Municipal Pier - Loulou's Griddle in the Middle and the Sandbar & Grill. Are there any fish markets? Is this where the fisherman dock their boats and if so, what time is a good time to see them come in with their catch? Can you drive onto the pier? Any other info you have is appreciated.

There's not much on that pier. I have seen them unload while eating at Sandbar and grill, but the catch usually comes in quite early to get to restaurants etc. There is limited parking on the pier, and as there is not much out there, I can find space most of the time. unless you are going to eat at one of the restaurants, its not worth the trip IMO.
