mendocino coast cabin?

looking for a small cabin/cottage (2 people) along the mendocino coast, or even futher south.

would love a wood fireplace and outdoor hot tub, and trying to keep in under $200/night.

rustic is OK, just not dingy and old.

any info would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, Haven't stayed here, but almost did. I wanted ocean view...but this place my wife really liked and it is under 200 a night. vacationrentals.com/vacation-rentals/602.html

We stayed at this one. Was 225. night and has an ocean view and beach path. But was 225 a night.

Also had looked at schoolhousecreek.com they have a couple cottages right on the water and friends have stayed there in the past. Nice views but pricey. The rooms and cottages at their inn are reasonably priced. And the breakfast was really good. Some of the cottages have kitchens.

Weather up there has been awesome. Lots of sun. Guess the fog doesn't come until later in the summer.

Best of luck finding what you want and have a great trip.

Forgot. The cottontail acres place, the owners didn't charge us for the hot tub even though the web page says there is a fee depending on how long you are staying. They were easy to deal with and left a nice bottle of wine for us. peace.

You're welcome, enjoy your trip. And for a tasty breakfast, Queenies Roadhouse in Elk is a kick in the pants.
