Universal Buy a day get a year free

I just came across this deal today.

For those that are looking to get discounts on tickets you could have one person buy this deal. Then that same person (who is now a member) can purchase additional tickets at $15 dollars off general admission (up to 6 tickets).

It's the best price on single day admission that I've been able to find.

Anyone have others they've come across?

There doesnt seem to be alot of the usual discounts offered for Universal this year so far. There is usually a $15 discount of some sort by this time of year.

If you have some form of AAA they are offering ticket for Childrens prices at some of thier offices in the U.S., But I dont know if you could purchase them or not.

Not sure if you are from Canada or not, but...

If you are planning on visiting Disneyland as well, you may want to consider something such as the Southern California City Pass which offers a 3 day Disneyland Parkhopper ticket,1 day Universal Studios ticket, and 1 day SeaWorld ticket. Canada residents can get a very good value on them right now online only through the Costco Canada website for $289 for adults which is a good value even if you only use the 3 day Disneyland Parkhopper ticket and the Universal Studios ticket, you are getting the Universal Studios ticket for $29 since right now just a 3 day Disneyland Parkhopper ticket is $260.

If you are not from Canada, its still a good value if you only use the 3 day Parkhopper ticket and Universal ticket in the SoCal City Pass at $319 for adults. So you would still be getting a Universal Studios ticket for $25 off the regular price.

You can also look at the Mousesavers.com website which lists current discount on attractions for you (they dont sell tickets) And you can compare mulit-attraction ticket discount to single park discounts ect to see what may work best for you.

One added discount if you are from Canada, you can purchase some Disneyland tickets sometimes at pretty good discount prices through Flight Centre Canada.

Thanks for your reply!

We've done Disney 2 years ago and we want to experience some of the other aspects of LA/Orange County. So no DLR for us this time.

We'll b hitting the beach as well as Universal and Knott's.

I think I'll probably do the Universal Buy one day, get a year deal. Then buy tickets for the rest of the fam using the $15 off general admission.

Unless anyone else has come across better deals! ;-)

Knotts often has the best deal on thier actual website, as they offer pretty good discount during different times of the year, and a substantial discount for purchasing online ahead of time.

Heres thier current promotions they are offering.

And thier regular ticket page...
