We're planing a vacation in late March. We would like to land in the LA area and take a scenic drive (rt. 101?) up to the Napa wine region. The last day will be spent in SF as we will take our return flight from there.
We'd like to spend about 2.5 days on the drive (2 nights);
1.5 days (2 nights) in the Napa region and 1 night in SF.
What I need is 1) any general comments about this preliminary itinerary 2) Suggestions on things to see and places to stop overnight on the drive 3) wineries to check out.
We've never done this trip.
Thanks for the help
