Accommodation advice

We are spending 3 days (Sept.) in LA and would like to visit Universal Studios & Walk of fame. How far are these 2 from each other? Also, can someone pls recommend good accommodation (possible with breakfast included?) where we'll be close to these 2 places?

Thank you

10 minutes by car or taxi, about 30 minutes by public transit since the bus and metro rail trains stop at the bottom of the hill upon which Universal sits. You must either walk up the hill or wait for a free tram.

Sorry. We don't know what 'good accommodations" means. None of the lovely contributors on this forum would recommend BAD accommodations so please be SPECIFIC. What class of hotel are you looking for? How much are you willing to spend? What are your travel dates? How many persons are traveling and how many beds do they need?

Have you looked at our FAQs section which explains how to select a neighborhood and pick the perfect hotel? Link to the FAQs in the right-hand column of this page titled "Top Questions about Los Angeles"

Holiday Inn Express Walk of Fame on Highland Avenue, or the Magic Castle Hotel.
