My husband and I are flying into California for 6 days next month. We will be staying in Laguna Beach, most likely for the entirety of our stay. We are flying in on Friday, picking up a rental car, and heading south to LB. We plan to relax in LB for the first two nights. Then maybe Sunday drive into San Diego to visit the Zoo and Balboa Island. We also plan to spend two days toward the end of trip at Disneyland-one day for each park.
We are curious what you might recommend for a day trip or something of the likes in the surrounding area within a short drive of Laguna.
We are two 30 yo's who are coming as tourists for the first time. We enjoy sightseeing, typical touristy things (major attractions) but also things that are authentic to an area/region. We are still young at heart, we love zoos and Disney. We also enjoy eating when we travel- American and Italian are my faves(as a picky eater) but my hubs is willing to be more adventurous and will try just about any cuisine.
Hopefully with this information some of you might have suggestions of where we should spend some time. Any positive input is welcomed, thanks!
