Dinner in Half Moon Bay

Need help here! Travelling to CA soon and spending couple nights in HMB. (First time there)... I see reservations are suggested for most dining establishments on the beach. Just wondering (since it's hard to tell from websites) which place you would suggest for CASUAL dining... a place you don't have to dress up.... a place you can grab beers, have a steak and wear jeans!!! Any ideas???? THX!

Definitely Sam's Chowder House! We have dined there several times. The Stuffed Prawns are awesome there. Pretty views and an outside patio, also. :).

HMB Brewing Company, for sure. Miramar is another casual place with a neat history.

For one of the best views during Sunset you need to at least have a drink or eat at La Costenera which is I guess about 10-15 min drive north on Hwy 1 in Montara -- one of the best locations imho in Northern Ca and it has Peruvian food -- Even if you just go for a Pisco Sour, that would be ok.

Decisions Decisions and now more Decisions LOL
