Accommodation for family of 3

Hi, can anyone recommend a hotel or b&b with a king or queen plus a pullout bed (ideally). Looking at august next year so just getting some early plans together, will be staying in the Carmel area for 2 nights, budget $150 give or take, thanks.

I compiled this list of places that have good accommodations for families. Check them out. I think $150 a night in Carmel in August may be difficult. Also, since you're planning so far ahead (very wise), keep in mind that there is a special event (Concours d'elegance auto show and auction) that takes place from the 15th-21st, and the rates and availability for those dates and the day or two before and after are difficult. If you can avoid those dates, you'll do much better, and the town and restaurants will be somewhat less crowded.

Monte Verde Inn

Carmel Village Inn

Colonial Terrace Inn has Colonial Suite, which accommodates up to 6 people:

Lamp Lighter Inn has a suite that accommodates 4 people--queen bed and two singles on two floors

Vagabond's House Inn Room 9 has two double beds.

The Normandy Inn may be in your price range, it is right on Ocean Ave. :).
