Shops will be closed, but there will be restaurants open. To my knowledge, the following places will be serving, and I'm sure there are others. The vast majority will be serving from a special menu, so it will be a prix fixe and probably pretty pricey. I don't know of places that will be serving their regular menu, unless it's a Denny's sort of place. Perhaps someone else will know of places where you can order off the regular menu.

If you don't mind driving, there are plenty of other places in the area. For example, The Fish Hopper on Cannery Row offers a Thanksgiving dinner. I don't know the cost, but it's less than you'll pay in an upscale Carmel restaurant.

A local food columnist has published a list of Thanksgiving options. Mission Ranch would be a great choice in Carmel. Here's the column: montereyherald.com/mikehale/ci_21989346/mike…

Mission Ranch is a great suggestion. This is a beautiful property in a gorgeous setting. Very good food, also. :)
