There are BW properties in both San Simeon and Cambria. I prefer Cambria. We have had nice stays at the Fireside Inn which has nice views of Moonstone Beach. Cambria is such a quaint, unique little coastal gem with several nice shops/boutiques, restaurants and a teahouse, The Tea Cozy for a different experience.

We also like Linn's Bakery for their ollalieberry treats. Have fun! :)

I really like the town of Cambria. Anywhere on Moonstone Beach Dr. will be nice. We have stayed at the San Simeon Pines(despite name it is in Cambria)They have a nice grassy area with shuffleboard and mini golf. sspines.com

Hi

We stayed at the Silver Surf Motel in San Simeon in September 2005.

We payed on GBP 25 for the night and it was a very nice room. We were very impressed! Was one of the best hotels of our trip.

There were other hotels either side and accross the road, including a Best Western which is where we ate dinner. Very nice and very reasonably priced.

thanks for your suggestions. I have made reservations at the Cambria Shores Inn, it looks like a great place and breakfast and afternoon appetizers are included in the price. Thanks again.
