Cambria to San Diego - too far for 1 day?

We're starting our trip off in San Fran and stopping in Monterey and Cambria along the way. We're debating whether or not to stay 2 days in Cambria and then drive directly to San Diego in order to take our time with the wine tours, or do 1 night in Cambria and then stop again in Santa Barbara. Thoughts from the experts?? Thanks in advance.

Thanks again for the great suggestions. I will do more research about the wineries in both Paso and Santa Ynez and then make a decision.

We won't likely be arriving in Cambria until very late afternoon/early evening since we will be going to the Monterey Aquarium in the morning, taking our time along Big Sur and then visiting Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. Adding the Paso wineries to that list would be overly ambitious - or let's just say impossible!

You may also want to check out the wine tasting places we have here in Cambria. Lion Peak, Moonstone Cellars and Fermentations are all great places for winetasting. Also just to the south is Harmony Cellars.

If you do decide to visit Paso, You may want to consider some of the wine tour van services that are offered. They will pick you up at your hotel.

Fermentations in Cambria is a great suggestion, they also have several olive oils and dips to taste as well as wine. Have fun! :)
