confused

We are planning on staying in beverly hills for 4 nights, if we stay here how easy is it to get to hollywood for the touristy things, and is it possible to get to a beach? we are not planning on hiring a car, so just wondering if these places are walkable or require public transport.

thanks in advance

Beverly Hills is located between Hollywood and the beaches. Have a look at www.mapquest.com for driving directions for your trip planning.

It will be simple to drive between these places from Beverly Hills. In most caes you will be using surface street and avoiding the freeways.

No Worries!!

Where, exactly, are you staying? If it's the Hilton, it's easy to get around by bus, if it's the Crowne Plaza, it is not.

Beverly Hills is a very central location for visiting Hollywood and the beach in Santa Monica. Ideally, your hotel should be as close as possible to either Santa Monica Bl or Wilshire Bl. Both of these roads have express buses that go westbound to the beaches and eastbound into central L.A. For Hollywood, take any eastbound bus to the corner of Fairfax Av and then transfer to a northbound #217 bus or a #780 bus.

Have fun!

Really depends which hotel you are staying at. If it is the Beverly Hilton, perfect! Easy to get to Santa Monica and Hollywood.
