Need information on Villa rentals in Sousa

We are a couple in our early 60's from Canada and would appreciate any information on who is a reputable company or person to secure a rental property through. We would like a property close to grocery shopping and public transport. It does not have to be on the beach. We do not drive in the DR, so walking distance to most places would be great, but not a deal breaker. We would prefer to rent a house in a safe area. Any information would be greatly helpful and appreciated. We are looking to rent from January thru March. Any ideas on location or property names or areas? Thanks
