compare Viva Wyndham Tangerine to Hotel Celuisma

Can anyone help compare Viva Wyndham Tangerine to Hotel Celuisma? Going all-inclusive may help make our airfare more affordable. In general, we prefer quiet and nature, not easy to find in an all-inclusive, I know. Both of them have good and also really horrible reviews.

Do either of them have restaurants with walls?

Which has better food?

Which is least run-down?

How is the beach different in each location?

Any other tips for a quiet room with a nice view?

If you want to enjoy the town of Cabarete with the restaurants, bars, clubs, shops then Tangerine wins hands down as it is a 8 min walk along the beach to get to town. It is also right on the beach which stretches for over 6km with lots of kite boarding, wind surfing, boogie boarding and swiming.

The Celuisma is about a 10 min cab ride to town and is pretty isolated. Also not in an area that would be particularly safe to walk at night.

For Viva, the Palace section is newer, about four years old.

The beach in front of Viva is nicer too. While the ocean can be choppy, it is safe to go in. Not so where Celuisima is located.

A selling point for Celuisima that may interest you though is that it is adults only. viva isn't.
