Hi there, we are hoping to visit some different areas in Cornwall this year, places we aren't familiar with. I like the look of Padstow, and have read some nice things about Polperro too. Can anybody tell me anything about the areas so I can compare? I have two young boys also, so it's more ideal if not too hilly, parking and that sort of thing, although I love pretty and quaint places as an artist. Thank you.

Naturally we'd vote for Padstow. There is a different beach for every day. The kids can go on boat rides or crab from the harbour. Surf lessons and coasteering are nearby. There are lots of places to walk or wander. The Camel Trail is a the old disused railway to Bodmin that is now a walkway/cycle track. Trevone nearby is great for rockpooling. Please let us know if we can help further

Polperro every day of the week.Padstow is like St ives and has become too commercialised.Polperro has it all and a ton of character too!
