Still winter, expect frost and snow. But if lucky warm and dry. Few tourists so you have the place to yourself.

We're planning a visit for April or May. When should we expect spring to begin in Iceland? Thanks for your help and advice.

Spring takes place during April and May. Even so, with the unpredictable Icelandic weather, you may experience winter conditions within those months if you're unlucky.
