Unless someone knows more than I do, there really is not a great waterfall at Eureka with public access. Two of Arkansas's most beautiful waterfalls are within 30 minutes of Eureka, but you would need to be slightly adventurous to get to them (gravel roads and some hiking) and, like many waterfalls in Arkansas, they MUST have adequate rainfall before they really show their beauty. By March and April the action usually gets going. Eagles' Nest and Tea Kettle are 41 and 46 foot tall falls in the Madison County Wildlife Area. You take 23 South out of Eureka but the directions become complicated after that. There are excellent directions to these and other gorgeous Arkansas Falls in a book called Arkansas Waterfalls Guidebook by Tim Ernst. This is available at www.cloudland.net or through interlibrary loans (readily available at Little Rock Public Libraries). You will have a great time in Eureka, falls or not.
