Yes, for us those trains are part of the fun. They never bothered us there and they are a lot more silent than they were years ago. Sitting in the gardens of La Posada and see the trains pass, glass in hand Wow.

Loved your shot of the little boy watching the trains. What little boy doesn't enjoy that. You got some super shots and yes, its a great place to visit.
If you want a room that doesn't hear trains all night, then ask for one of the east wing rooms. We stayed in room 244 and even with the window open, didn't hear any train sound!
