Tuba City Truck Stop Tacos?

Can someone tell me if the Tuba City truck stop that sells Navajo Tacos still exists?

Thanks!

Sorry to say that it's gone now. Found an interesting little snippet about it on a site called "Disappearing Places," discusses the reason for its closure and the fire that eventually destroyed the structure. disappearingplaces.net/tuba-city-truck-stop Real shame - I liked that place too.

But - you can always head down the road a ways to the Cameron Trading Post. Yes, it's very touristy, but they make good Navajo Tacos too.

"Navajo tacos" are just deep-fried white bread dough with various toppings. They're not "native food." You will find them other places if you insist.

Not traditional native food dating back hundreds of years, but significant history about fry bread, which does date back about 150 years. For me, a 150-year-old tradition is "native" enough for me.
