Horseback riding, Jeep tour, Camelback mountain

Traveling to Arizona for 4 days in early November. A few questions:

1. Horsebackriding tours in the later afternoon with a stop at a Steakhouse prior to sunset have been recommended. We are staying in Pheonix for the first few nights then traveling to Sedona. Any thoughts? Any recommendations on on making arrangements?

2. Camelback Mountain- Would it be reasonable to head out for a hike around 1pm? Heard that this can be a vigorous hike.

3.. Jeep Tour- We have 24 hours in Sedona. Should we travel on foot (hiking) or by Jeep guided tour to see the red rocks of Sedona? Pink Jeep Tours have been recommended. Any suggestions for the tour or a hike for our brief visit to Sedona? We also need a fabulous recommendation for a romantic place to stay. While in Sedona, lunch/dinner at the Enchanted Resort, and L'Auberge de Sedona have been recommended. Any advice appreciated.

Camelback is worth it. If you want to get the steak dinner in Sedona and the Sunset I would recommend the Cowboy Club or Redstone Cabin in Uptown Sedona.

Jeep Tour or Hike? Jeep tours give you some background information about the area and are fun. But hiking on your own gives you a very quite more up close experience of Sedona. I would suggest Marges Draw for a easy to moderate hike. It's in a Wilderness designated area where no bikes or moterized vehicles are allowed.

L'Auberge is beautiful as is Enchantment. L'Auberge is in uptown next to the creek and might be a little cold in November. Enchantment is at the mouth of a canyon and warmer and has more sun.
